2010 Annual Journal
The Firefighter Christopher Santora Educational Scholarship Fund Annual Journal is a beautiful book that seeks to remember the victims of 9/11 and honor the Scholarship Winners for the current year’s competition. Profiles of some of our 343 lost FDNY family are featured, as well as the winning scholarship essays and their authors.
The Journal is more than a simple collection of advertisements and well-wishes. Those types of Journals exist in abundance, but we never wanted to be one of them.
The Firefighter Christopher Santora Educational Scholarship Fund Annual Journal is truly a keepsake. It features the highest quality printing and beautiful full–color covers and feature sections, where each year we profile some of the 343 fallen FDNY family. Last year we featured 7 of our fallen Firefighters, and we hope to continue on each year until all of our lost heros have been profiled. Their stories deserve to be told, and we want to play our part in bringing these stories to you.
Of course, we need everyone who can to do their parts to make it happen. Taking out an advertisement or testimonial in our Annual Journal helps us to pay for the cost of printing such a high-quality keepsake, and additionally helps us to keep the Scholarship accounts fully funded. It’s your support that allows us to continue to offer $8,000 scholarships to 8 new recipients each year as well as to all of the previous years’ winners.
It is your support that keeps us going. And we hope that you will once again be in our corner this year.
